2) Categories which specify (Hindi & English) next to it will be applicable for Hindi & English language News Channels only.

• PR1 - Daily News Bulletin: A daily news show that highlights the day's important news and headlines presented by one or many newsreaders, that covers everything from current affairs to politics, sports to weather and even breaks news stories as they happen. The entire bulletin should be sent for the entry to be valid.
• PR2 - News Documentary - Limited episodes: (Hindi & English only) A documentary series that continues over more than one episode or consists of a collection/ anthology of one-offs that constitute a central theme. Two episodes must be submitted. Both episodes must have been broadcast between the eligibility dates.
• PR3 - Current Affairs Special: (Hindi & English only) A special feature show produced to highlight and emphasize a specific current issue or event.
• PR4 - Best Talk Show: (Hindi & English only) A show hosted by an anchor/s interviewing one or more guests from the social & political world.
• PR5 - Lifestyle & Fashion News Show: (Hindi & English only) A programme that showcases the latest news and updates from the world of lifestyle and fashion.
• PR6 - Entertainment News Programme: (Hindi & English only) A programme that highlights the latest news and updates from the world of entertainment, celebrities, films, music and television.
• PR7 - Entertainment Talk Show: (Hindi & English only) A show hosted by an anchor/s interviewing one or more guests from the entertainment industry.
• PR8 - Business News Programme: (Hindi & English only) A programme that showcases the latest news and updates in the world of business, stock markets, etc.
• PR9 - Business Special: (Hindi & English only)A special feature programme produced to showcase a specific story or event about the markets, the corporate world, etc.
• PR10 - Business Talk Show: (Hindi & English only) A show hosted by an anchor/s interviewing one or more guests from the corporate and business world.
• PR11 - Sports News Show: (Hindi & English only) A programme that highlights the latest news and updates
• Pr12 - Sports Special: (Hindi & English only) A special feature programme produced to showcase a specific story or event about the sporting world.
• PR13 - Sports Talk Show: (Hindi & English only) A show hosted by an anchor/s interviewing one or more guests from the world of sports.
• PR14 - Show on Social/Environment Awareness / Social Development Campaign: (Hindi & English only) A show produced and dedicated to highlighting a social or environmental issue, its causes and roadblocks and possible solutions to eradicate the problem (including inviting volunteers, donations, etc.). The entry should contain the entire episode and in cases where the episode length exceeds two hours, an additional thirty minute montage of the campaign should be sent, highlighting the foundation, theme and spirit of the endeavor.
• PR15 - News Debate Show: A debate show hosted by an anchor/s with a panel of guests. The topic of discussion can be anything from current affairs to politics, sports to entertainment, Talk shows should not be sent for this category.
• PR16 - Televised Live Initiative by a News Channel: (Hindi & English only) Only live non-award events constituted and organized by a news channel are eligible for this category. The entry should contain footage of the entire event (could be a conference, summit, conclave, social campaign, etc.), which should have aired on the channel in the given time period.
• PR17 - Best Prime Time News Show
• PR 18 - Best Animated show by a news channel (Hindi & English only)
